Alpha Hour app privacy notice
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This notice is for people whose information is in Alpha Hour Cleaning Service’s app at s4ndo.vercel.app: Alpha Hour’s cleaners and staff, its clients, and anyone who texts or calls its business number. It describes what the app does today.
Who is responsible
- Alpha Hour Cleaning Service decides why and how your information is used. It is the responsible business under Quebec’s Law 25. Person in charge of protecting personal information: Richard, owner. Email: [email protected]. Phone: 450-374-8823.
- S4NDO provides and hosts the app for Alpha Hour. S4NDO acts as a service provider: it handles your information only on Alpha Hour’s instructions and to run the app. Contact: Senthoorjan Arumugam, [email protected].
If you are a cleaner or staff member
What is collected:
- when you register: your name, email, password (stored in a scrambled form nobody can read) and, if you give it, your phone number;
- what you add later: your availability by weekday, your phone number and email;
- what Alpha Hour adds to your file: your area, role, WhatsApp number, approval and active status;
- your work: the jobs you apply for or are given, attendance and no-shows recorded by the office, notes and ratings the office gives you, your pay rate and the amounts paid;
- your messages: the team chat and direct messages;
- the before/after photos you take on a job;
- your notifications (deleted automatically after 90 days) and, if you turn them on, your device’s technical address for notifications;
- technical data: your browser and device type, the time you were last online, and a log of actions taken in the app.
What is not collected: no GPS location, no clock-in photos, no social insurance number, no date of birth, no banking information.
Why: to offer you jobs, build the schedule, reach you about a job, track the work done and work out your pay.
Who sees it: Alpha Hour’s office sees your whole file. Other cleaners see only your name, role, manager label, whether your account is active and who referred you. They never see your phone number, email, address, city or availability. Ratings, office notes and pay are visible to the office only.
If you are an Alpha Hour client
What is collected:
- your name, contact person, phone number, WhatsApp number, email and service address;
- the details of each visit: date, description, notes and access notes, price and payment;
- text messages with Alpha Hour, your consent to texts (with its date and source) and any opt-out;
- calls with Alpha Hour’s number: numbers, date, length and, if you leave a voicemail, the recording;
- before/after photos of your home taken by the cleaner;
- the rating and comment you leave after a visit, with your name if you give it.
Why: to plan and carry out visits, send you reminders and updates by text if you agreed, answer your requests, bill, and keep track of the quality of the work.
Who sees it: Alpha Hour’s office sees your file. Cleaners see the address and notes of visits that are offered to them or assigned to them. Photos are kept private: only the office and the assigned cleaner can see them. The link that shows them to you after a visit opens access that expires after 10 minutes.
If you text or call Alpha Hour
Your number, your messages, the time and length of the call, and your voicemail if you leave one are kept so Alpha Hour can answer you. If your number is new, a client record is created under it.
Service providers and where data is hosted
S4NDO uses the following providers to run the app. They may use the information only to provide that service.
| Provider | Role | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, accounts and passwords, photos, server functions. Holds all the information described here. | Canada (Montreal) |
| Vercel | Hosts and delivers the app. Sees visitors’ IP address and browser. | United States |
| Twilio | Texts and calls with clients: numbers, text content, call details and voicemails. | United States |
| Resend | App emails: invitations, job notices, password resets. | United States |
| Google, Apple, Mozilla | Deliver notifications to your device, depending on your browser. | United States and elsewhere |
| jsDelivr, Google Fonts | Serve code and fonts when the app opens. They see your IP address. | Worldwide network |
Some information is therefore communicated outside Quebec, mainly to the United States, where other laws apply. Tapping an address or a WhatsApp number in the app opens Google Maps or WhatsApp, which receive that address or number.
Neither Alpha Hour nor S4NDO sells personal information. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How long
- Cleaners: while you work with Alpha Hour. When you leave, your account is deactivated and your file stays until you or Alpha Hour ask for it to be deleted.
- Clients: while you are a client, then until you or Alpha Hour ask for it to be deleted.
- Notifications: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Pay, invoices and payments: kept as long as tax law requires, even after a deletion request.
- Text-message consents and opt-outs: kept as proof, even after an opt-out.
The app deletes nothing else automatically today. Deletion requests are handled by hand, within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, or get a copy in a common format. You can also withdraw your consent. For texts, reply STOP. Cleaners can correct their phone number and email under Profile, and download their data under Settings → Export My Data.
How: write to Alpha Hour at [email protected], or call 450-374-8823. You can also write to S4NDO at [email protected]: we pass the request to Alpha Hour and help it answer. We may ask you to confirm your identity. You get a written answer, free of charge, within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Security and incidents
Access is limited by each person’s role and every connection is encrypted. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, Alpha Hour notifies the people affected and the Commission d’accès à l’information, with S4NDO’s help.
